The Intensive Management Unit is a 3-bed, highly specialized patient care unit catering to critically ill adult and pediatric patients requiring close observation, monitoring, and medical management. The unit is equipped with appropriate patient monitors and bedside equipment and technologies required to meet the patient’s complex medical needs.
Location: The IMU is located on the 3rd Floor of the hospital’s Main Building.

Will I be updated on the condition of the patient?
The family or companion of the patient is regularly updated of the patient status. You can expect to speak with a doctor on a regular basis. The ICU team is available anytime to listen or your concerns and assist you if there are questions to the doctors.
Can i visit a patient in IMU?
Family members are part of the healthcare team and can visit anytime. Friends and non- family memebers are welcome to visit from from 9:00am to 11:00am and 5:00 pm to 9:00pm. You will be informed by our nursing staff in situations where it is safer for the patient not to have visitors inside the room. Can I bring flowers or balloons inside the IMU?
Plants and flowers are not permitted in the unit. Plants can sometimes carry insects and germs that may further stress the patient’s immune system. Gift balloons are welcome provided they are made of the shiny plastic known as Mylar.
