The Endoscopy Unit of Fe Del Mundo Medical Center is a diagnostic unit serving both outpatients and admitted patients. Our facility features timely and effective care in a comfortable setting, and provides quality diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
During a procedure, the physician uses a flexible tube composed of fiber optics, microchips, and intricate mechanisms (endoscope) with a guided camera, to internally examine the digestive tract, if indicated, to also provide therapeutic treatment.
For Outpatient and Elective procedures, the endoscopy unit is open Mondays to Fridays from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Emergency endoscopy care is also available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, through scheduled arrangements by staff and on-call hours.
Location: The unit is located at the 3rd floor of the hospital’s Main Building.
